Welcome to a wonderful introduction to sewing for our youngest fashion enthusiasts, ages 5 and 6! In this fun and creative class, your child will learn to sew and create real clothing and accessories on a sewing machine. Ā Rolling enrollment, join anytime.

Class Highlights:
- Safety First: We start with an introduction to using our kid-friendly sewing machines, equipped with speed control and finger guards.
- Hands-On Learning: Students dive into their first project on day one!
- Step-by-Step Guidance: Throughout the course, they'll learn to thread the machine and use child-friendly patterns to make 2-3 simple yet fashionable items.
Each student works on their own project at their own pace with guidance from our professional instructors. Our small class size ensures lots of personal attention!

Seasonal Projects:Ā Our projects get more challenging as your child's skills improve. Each season brings new and trendy pieces that the young designers can proudly wear.

Fashion Shows: All students are invited to show off their creations at our seasonal fashion shows during the last week of each season.

Policies:Ā PleaseĀ review our policiesĀ regarding cancellations, lateness, illness, and other unexpected situations before registering. These are important to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.

All participants under the age of 18 must have a waiver form signed by a parent or guardian before attending any class, camp, or workshop.
Registration and Processing Fee:Ā Our registration and processing fees, equal to 30% of the total cost for a course, camp, class, or workshop, are non-refundable. These fees help cover the costs of enrolling students and managing customer communication. However, they may be transferred if rescheduling occurs within the specified timeframe outlined below.
Membership:Ā
- Our multi-week courses are available through a monthly membership that automatically renews throughout the school year. If you need to make changes or cancel, please provide at least 30 daysā notice before your next billing date.
- If cancellation is not requested prior to the end of a class session, your enrollment will carry over to the next season automatically and you will continue to be billed on a monthly basis.
- All members have access to unlimited makeup classes that DO rollover into the next season, so long as your membership is active.
Making Up a Missed Class:Ā
- Currently enrolledĀ students at The Fashion Class can enjoy unlimited make-up classes for any missed sessions within their registration season (Fall, Winter, Spring).Ā To schedule a make-up session,Ā please contact us to arrange a different class time.
- Please note:Ā Make-up classes must be completed within the same season as the missed class. For example, if a class is missed during the Fall season, the make-up must be scheduled within that same Fall season.
- Make-up classes are offered as a courtesy and have no monetary value.
Rescheduling and Date Transfers:
All date changes are based on availability.
- Courses/Multi-Week ClassesĀ can be rescheduled with one week notice.
- One-Day CampsĀ can be rescheduled with one week notice.
- Summer Camps/Weekly CampsĀ can be rescheduled with three week's notice.
- Birthday Parties/Special EventsĀ can be rescheduled with three week's notice.
- One Day LessonsĀ (Private Lessons/Sewing Playdates/Mommy and Me Lessons/Seasonal Workshops/Sip & Sew Events) can be rescheduled with 48 hour's notice.
Cancellations:
No-Shows:Ā If your child does not attend a class, workshop, or camp without prior notice, the full fee will be forfeited. To avoid this, please inform us in advance if your child will be unable to attend.
- Week-Long and Summer Camp Registration Cancellation:
- 30 or more days before the camp start date: 70% refund
- 15-29 days before: 50% refund
- 2-14 days before: 25% refund
- Birthday Party & Special EventĀ cancellations will result in the forfeiture of the $250 deposit.
- Registration Cancellation for all other offerings:Ā (including Courses, Individual Classes, Workshops, One-Day Camps, Mommy and Me Lessons, and Playdates) If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us at least one week before the class start date. We will issue a refund, minus the 30% registration fee outlined above, within 10 business days.
- If we cancel due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, youāll receive a full refund within 10 business days.
