A fashion playdate is a drop-off activity for two or more kids to hang out and get creative—designing fashion, decorating rooms, or sewing real clothing! Reservations are required to ensure we have enough supplies and sewing machines for the ultimate experience.
These playdates are a fun way to introduce kids to sewing and design. They’ll explore new materials and techniques, build skills in a relaxed setting, and connect with friends who share their love of fashion—all while boosting creativity and confidence.
All Supplies are included!
Playdates are timed so that each participant completes the sewing project, we do not have time for food or snack breaks and do not allow food and drinks near our sewing machines. If you need extra time, please contact us directly.

- Policies: We require 48 hours’ notice for any date or time changes. You’ll choose your lesson date and time at checkout. No-shows will forfeit the lesson fee. Not ready to book? A gift card is the perfect option. Thank you for understanding and we can’t wait to sew with you!
Our Policies
All participants under the age of 18 must have a waiver form signed by a parent or guardian before attending any class, camp, or workshop.
Membership:
- Our multi-week courses are available through a monthly membership that automatically renews throughout the year.
- If you need to make changes or cancel, please provide at least 30 days’ notice before your next billing date.
- If cancellation is not requested 30 days prior to your billing date, your enrollment will carry over to the next month automatically and you will continue to be billed on a monthly basis.
- All members have access to unlimited makeup classes, so long as your membership is active.
Making Up a Missed Class:
- Currently enrolled students at The Fashion Class can enjoy unlimited make-up classes for any missed sessions. To schedule a make-up session, please contact us to arrange a different class time.
- Make-up classes are offered as a courtesy and have no monetary value.
Rescheduling and Date Transfers:
All date changes are based on availability.
- Courses/Multi-Week Classes can be rescheduled with one week notice.
- One-Day Camps can be rescheduled with one week notice.
- Summer Camps/Weekly Camps can be rescheduled with three week's notice.
- Birthday Parties/Special Events can be rescheduled with three week's notice.
- One Day Lessons (Private Lessons/Sewing Playdates/Mommy and Me Lessons/Seasonal Workshops/Sip & Sew Events) can be rescheduled with 48 hour's notice.
Cancellations:
No-Shows: If your child does not attend a class, workshop, or camp without prior notice, the full fee will be forfeited. To avoid this, please inform us in advance if your child will be unable to attend.
- Week-Long and Summer Camp Registration Cancellation:
30 or more days before the camp start date: 70% refund
15-29 days before: 50% refund
2-14 days before: 25% refund - Birthday Party & Special Event cancellations will result in the forfeiture of the $250 deposit.
- Registration Cancellation for all other offerings: (including Courses, Individual Classes, Workshops, One-Day Camps, Mommy and Me Lessons, and Playdates) If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us at least one week before the class start date. We will issue a refund, minus the 30% registration fee outlined above, within 10 business days.
- If we cancel due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, you’ll receive a full refund within 10 business days.
Our kid’s play dates are just the thing for your child and friends to socialize and have fun while learning something new. They’re also great for a smaller birthday parties and group activities without all of the extra party stuff. Our playdates for children and teens are the perfect group activity for kids who love to create!

A fashion play date is the ultimate creative hang-out for kids ages 6 and up! Designed for groups of two or more children, this drop-off experience combines fun and fashion in a unique setting where kids can unleash their creativity. Whether they're designing their own fashion sketches, sewing stylish clothing, or crafting chic room decor, every play date is packed with hands-on activities that are as fun as they are inspiring.
Perfect for friends, siblings, or classmates, a Fashion Play Date offers a chance to bond over shared projects in a vibrant and encouraging environment. Reservations are required to ensure we have all the necessary supplies, fabrics, and sewing machines ready, so each child can dive into their chosen activity without missing a beat. It’s more than just a play date—it’s a chance to create something fabulous, make lasting memories, and spark a love for design!
